UpperWest welcomes another Neapolitan Pizza

Pizzaiolo Damian Barneschi and his wife Rebecca Schauer return to UpperWest to host their first pizza popup of the new year!
The dough for these traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas is made with a natural sourdough starter and utilizes an extended fermentation to achieve maximum flavor and a light, airy crumb. The 13" pies cook in under 90 seconds and exhibit a puffy, spotted outer crust and an extremely tender, slightly wet center.
Diners will have a choice of five pizzas and a salad from these Guest Chefs, in addition to UpperWest's menu which includes cheese, charcuterie and a full bar, which includes their thoughtfully curated wine and amari selections.
The Guest Chef menu additions will be as follows:
$8 Arugula, shaved Parmesano Reggiano, pine nuts, lemon vinaigrette
$16 Margherita (mozzarella di bufala, tomato sauce, fresh basil, EVOO)
$17 Filetti (mozzarella di bufala, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh garlic, EVOO)
$13 Mast'Nicola (lardo, fresh basil, grated Pecorino Romano)
$18 Funghi (mozzarella di bufala, crimini and shiitake mushrooms, fresh rosemary, fresh garlic)
$15 Rosa (shaved red onions, pistachios, fresh rosemary, grated Permesano Reggiano, EVOO)
